ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Proposals

• Prepare proposals for Material Handling & Auxiliary Equipment and Material Handling Systems
• Create and prepare product descriptions for proposal master
• Support for Regional Sales Managers for Material Handling & Auxiliary Equipment quotes and material handling system quotes
• Assist in keeping quote templates up to date

Sales Orders

• Enter Sales Orders for Material Handling & Auxiliary Equipment, Material Handling Systems, and Multi-line orders as appropriate
• Calculates and reports sales commissions for Material Handling & Auxiliary Equipment and System orders
• Creates electronic project files at time of sales order entry
• Creation of bills of materials and work orders for sales orders as required
• Create and enter part numbers as required
• Review open sales order reports

Material Handling & Auxiliary Equipment Product Support

• Acts as main customer contact for all Material Handling & Auxiliary Equipment Material Handling Sales Orders for delivery inquiries, clarifications, shipping problems, returns, payment collections, etc.
• Supports parts and service groups as necessary for Material Handling & Auxiliary Equipment products
• Attend product shows and exhibitions to support marketing and sales efforts
• Assist with Material Handling & Auxiliary Equipment sizing and quoting

Other

• Reviews open deposit report and monitors customer status for approval to ship material
• Provides phone support if required
• Maintain Department files
• Uses and maintains CRM database
• Assists in SOP development, filing, & training

OTHER DUTIES

Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma with three to five years of customer oriented and/or business experience.

Education: Associates in Business or Mechanical Engineering or working towards degree preferred

Experience: Three to Five years equivalent experience desired

Certifications/Licenses: None

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

This position requires a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, and an intermediate to advanced level of proficiency with Excel. The candidate will display excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to cope with varying frequency of incoming requests. Candidate

must have excellent oral, phone and written English correspondence skills. Must be able to work

effectively on your own and as a team player. Must be detailed orientated and have a good

mechanical/technical aptitude. Ability to cope with varying frequency of incoming requests and

constantly re-assess priorities for maximizing company objectives. Maintain a professional and

positive working relationship with all contacts and business dealings.
